The National Operational, Monitoring and Evaluation Plan (2025-2026) was developed to guide the Government of Ghana in the monitoring and tracking the progress of the implementation of the National Strategic Framework to End Child Marriage in Ghana 2017-2026. The Operational Plan has been updated to enhance coordination, strengthen accountability, and improve results tracking across all implementing partners.
The revision process was led by the Child Marriage Unit of the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, with technical and financial support from UNICEF and UNFPA. Through a structured and participatory approach, key stakeholders engaged in consultative meetings to review existing data, validate reported achievements, and align indicators with current implementation realities and national priorities. This collaborative process ensured ownership, transparency, and credibility of the revised framework.
This revised M&E Plan introduces refined performance indicators, updated baselines and targets, and a harmonized results framework. This framework ensures standardized reporting and alignment across Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs), and development partners, thereby promoting coherence and comparability of data.
