The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) organized a one-day Review Meeting on Social Protection and Child Marriage Study.
The study examined how the various social protection interventions can contribute to reducing child marriage in Ghana as part of strategies under the UNFPA-UNICEF Global Programme to end child marriage. The objective of the meeting was to present the study findings for validation. All invited National level stakeholders as well as Development partners were present and made adequate inputs and recommendations into the draft study report to address outstanding gaps.
The meeting was held at Sunlodge Tesano, Accra on 22nd October 2024.
